Thermal fit tool chuck
Description
Thermal chuck without collet for the use of shank cutters through shrink fit. The spindle, brought to the appropriate temperature with suitable equipment, widens its cylindrical opening enough to allow the shank of the cutter to pass through. Once the cutter has been installed, as it cools, the chuck locks the tool shank, creating an extremely rigid and precise coupling, with very limited overall dimensions.
